Tree-based construction of low-cost action rules
نویسندگان
چکیده
A rule as actionable, if a user can do an action to his/her advantage based on that rule. Actionability can be expressed in terms of attributes that are present in a database. Action rules are constructed from certain pairs of classification rules previously extracted from the same decision table. Each such classification rule defines a preferable decision class. Attributes in a decision table are divided into two groups: stable and flexible. Flexible attributes provide a tool for making hints to a user to what changes within some values of flexible attributes are needed to reclassify a group of objects, supporting the action rule, from one decision class to another, more desirable, one. Changes of values of some flexible attributes can be more expensive than changes of other values. The notion of a cost can be introduced and assigned by an expert to each such a change.

QDMR: An Efficient QoS Dependent Multicast Routing Algorithm∗ IBRAHIM MATTA
Many distributed real-time applications, such as audioand video-conferencing and collaborative systems, require multicast support from the underlying network. Multicasting involves the delivery of messages over a tree rooted at the sender and whose paths lead to the various receivers. A major objective of the routing protocol is to build a tree with minimum cost. Finding such a tree is known to...

متن کاملCadmium Removal from Aqueous Solutions Using Saxaul Tree Ash
Cadmium can be found in wastewater in high concentrations and can cause dangerous effect on aqueous environment and human health. At present, many methods have been used to heavy metals removal. Among this clean up techniques, adsorption techniques by using low-cost adsorbent are more considerable. In this study, batch adsorption experiments were conducted for removal of cadmium ions from a...
